Saturday Meanderings.

It’s Saturday and what a day, dark and sinister sky’s, rain lots of thunder and lightening. Rigg’s is keeping his post right next to my chair. Thank God he is not afraid of storms and thunder, even fireworks and the sound of gunshots don’t bother him. must be the hunting instinct. A storm is just another excuse for a nap to him.

We have been getting lots of rain here lately, I am still hoping for a couple hot sunny days to dry out the ground so I can cut.

How about a couple of Navy pics.

Did this in a helicopter for all the bridges on the Hudson River starting at Verrazano going up to the Tappan Zee bridge. Most are lower than the Golden Gate pictured.

Donna is working the restaurant tonight, My Son Andy is out someplace hiking, caught in the rain no doubt.

Rigg’s and I have the Homeland Security detail.

Not much else going on here in Dardenne Prairie, hope we can get some sunny days soon. Be careful out there. Sam & Donna……….

  1. I'm glad the Riggs is tolerant of thunder storms. Coco does not react at all, but Sandy seeks out me or Helen and shivers. It has been an odd year rain wise. Instead of having thunder storms move over the area, the are born right over us, grow in intensity, and stay. One day, we got 4.5 inches of rain. I can hear thunder off in the distance but right now we are 91 degrees under a blue sky. If you keep getting rain and can't mow, you'll have to buy a flock of sheep to do the job. That will fatten them up. Do you like mutton?
