T.G.I.F.

Up at 0430AM with my pretty bride, and we had out coffee, plus I had a couple of Tasty Kake Buterscotch Krimpets, which I found at the store. Since they are made in Philadelphia, you seldom see them in the Midwest. what a pleasant surprise it was.

Then she was off to work at the truck company and then the restaurant.

Got a text message from Adam asking me to pick him up at the bus stop after school. so we will have his company this weekend, good thing, because we will be gone for the next couple weekends afterward on our vacation trip.

I went out this morning and got a haircut so I would be all squared away for the trip.

It’s been a miserable day all day with rain and thunder storms.

I believe I am getting some of that Oregon weather here now.

Adam is playing his xbox game with his headset and microphone so he must be online with a friend doing battle.

Rigg’s and Sadie are both laying at my feet in the kitchen , they won’t put there noses outside unless they absolutely have too.

Well that’s about it it is offically Miller time here at the Ranch. So I will say see Ya.

Hope evryone is well, and be safe out there. Sam & Donna….

  1. OMG! Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets. My favorites along with the Lemon Pie and Peanut Butter Tandytake.

I HATE little Debbies and Hostess stuff. Nothing is as good as Tastykake! I look on store shelves as we travel but no luck. Although my cousin in AZ says she finds them there on occasion.

Have a Krimpet for me and a Miller for Len.

  5. Hey Sam, we saw a great place to get a photo of a train going through 4 tunnels, one right after the other. We'll try to get that one, just for you. In the meantime, we thought you would enjoy a "taste of Oregon" weather, as you prepare for your trip to the Sunshine State!!

  6. Hey Sam & Donna - just realized we are going to only be 245.73 miles from Dardene Prairie once we settle in Branson. Hubby said we can definitely do a weekend jaunt up to your place sometime in the near future. Enjoy the Oregon weather - we are praying for good weather tomorrow as we drive through Dallas/Ft. Worth and into Oklahoma. Ron is hoping we make it to McAllister for the night.

  8. Hope you aren't getting the storms that are hitting OK. Haven't had a Tastekake in forever. Almost hi-jacked a Hostess truck yesterday though. Saw the truck and had a sudden craving.

  10. Well you had been having some pretty good weather for the last little while, I guess it was time to get a bit of the bad stuff, at least it isn't snow! Our weather is still wonderful, not sure what we will have in a month's time when we are back up north.
